Water on the Wisconsin River is finally subsiding a bit. Got out on Tuesday evening for a run from Merrill down to about even with Naugart Dr. Was mainly checking water levels. Threw about 50 casts while I was out on the river. Flows are low enough that flies are back in business. Water has been turbulent for some time now so fish have been hiding and holding tight to structure, deep pools and eddies, but I imagine they will be coming out to feed with the water dropping. This full moon should help as well. Hope to post again when I get out hopefully Thursday. Tight Lines!!
