Water temps dropped again down to 73 degrees from the low 80's late last week. Water levels are up due to the rain up north. This fish hit in the current almost right at the boat, as I was bouncing the bottom with a jointed crank. Temps were cool and it was a hint that fall is not too far away.
For those of you that don't have a jaw clamp, I highly recommend you get one for your boat. The one I have in this picture below is from Rapala. It makes handling the toothy creatures so much easier and when releasing them it is so much easier to hold them in the water as they are recuperating.
Tight Lines!!! Happy Fishing!!!
